Laparoscopy has become a commonly used minimally invasive surgical technique. It utilizes small incisions in the abdomen, through which a laparoscope—a thin tube with a lens—is introduced to show the internal organs. Surgical instruments are also inserted through these openings, allowing the surgeon to carry out a number of procedures with grea
